Arsenal qualified for european champions league final!!!!! first time ever in history, that arsenal has gone this far, and probably further. the final will be on 17 may in Stade de France (Paris).
arsenal just drew villareal in spain, a goalless draw. i've predicted that it's gonna be a draw, so apple do you believe me now? lol... as expected strategy from arsenal, they play defence. now they've broke the record of keeping clean sheet in european soccer for 10 games, furthermore they're known as an attacking minded team. when clichy gave away a penalty at 89th min, my heart sunk. disappointment filled me and yet remained hopeful. lehmann didn't disappoint me and save riquemel's last min penalty.
the 1st leg, i watched in in chalet last week. arsenal won 1-0 at home, as expected again... fraser, do u believe me now? lol... i didn't post, since i've no time. all the rush to hk and stuff. arsenal is gonna play against either barcelona or ac milan in the final, both are high profile team. but i've faith with the young gunners.
for champions league, arsene wenger played a 4-5-1 (4-2-3-1) formation rather than his normal 4-4-2, it concentrates on counter attack. henry as lone striker in front, 3 attacking midfielders (reyes, helb, ljungberg, pires), 2 holding midfielders (fabregas, gilberto, diaby), 4 defenders (eboue, senderos, toure, flamini, campbell), and last but least the keeper, hero lehmann. lauren (right back), ashley cole (left back) and clichy (left back) are injured for the whole season. i'm really surprise on how the young and unexperience defenders glued together to put up such a good show. furthermore, flamini who plays at the left back is a right legged centre midfielder. all the defenders are <21, except toure 25. midfield was well held, and fabregas is marvellous, who is only 18. lehmann, the hero tonight, saves gunners' ass for countless time in this tournament and beat kahn to be german's no.1 keeper. congrates... next is the god of highbury, none other than thierry henry. the club loves you, the team loves you, the fans love you, so please stay in arsenal. i've faith in your loyalty...

i'm in hk, again...
more mahjong in hk, play too much sg mj and i can't adapt to hk. -_-
the temperature is gay! 33 degrees? lol.. and it's spring.
baha is in hk as well, so we meet up and go around to look for anime, games and cards. end up all those shops are closed. !@$#%^
i bought some games and a ps2 controller... mine is dead, the buttons aren't working.
and now i'm in his hotel room blogging... tonight is arsenal vs villareal, Champions league semi final.... cheer for them, and i'll love u. blog about the match tonight. =)

Day 1
after the club crawl, i rushed to changi for tep farewell chalet. as expected, i was the last to reach, and the bbq was over by then, and i've not eaten anything for the day. jean bbq-ed a chicken chop for me, kinda touched. she really has the mother-like feeling. lol...some left in the night, the rest of us walked to changi to have supper. we walked round the carpark, just to see those 'prostitute' waiting for jobs? hahaa group went up to a room to gossip, and of course jean, the gossip mama, is included. the rest of us played mahjong downstairs. sg mj is different from hk's, need time to adapt. i was rated as the most unlucky one. -__- we were watching the arsenal vs villareal match, i love the cheering and shouting!! played mj till 8am and had 2, 3 hours of sleep. and thanks to those who went out to buy brunch. =)
Day 2
more mj section after meal, seems like everyone has addicted to mj. the temptation of mj is unstoppable~ 9 of us went to pula ubin for cycling, and we ended up hiding in a rest hut near the beach. damn the big rain... the bloody wind blew the rain and sand over us, bring back memory of the camping days. we played some games, e.g. black magic, sheeps jump over the wall... when the rain was gonna stop, we cycled back to the bicycle shop. the ground is wet, sand get washed down to the road. muddy water and the loosen stones made the wheels sunk into the ground.i speed through with gear 6 and 7, the mud splash up. the feel of mountain biking is great! the water level was above my ankle, so my shoes kinda gone case. mud all over me, even on my neck and face. the sand trapped in my hair, but damn fun.i exchanged bicycle with jiabi, since nat and he had a 2 persons bike. i had never tried that before, desperate to try it. but seems like i had chosen the wrong place to start, the wheel kept sinking into the ground. =(when we went back, ming xiang and jia bi act as coffee uncles. damn funny... even the aunties there were laughing. we took bus to tampines, fraser and the girls went to k-box while few of us went to k-pool. the table wasn't flat and the cue wasn't straight! and the ball wasn't round too..nah... just joking, i can't tell if they're round. lol.more mahjong section in the night... i was trying hard to teach chin fong mj, but i'm real bad in teaching. but chin fong's luck is god like, so end up she drew tiles while i played. we had a winning spree, until we changed seats and she started playing and i did the drawing.
Day 3
slept for 2 hours, then took train home with irene. the girl beside me, talked on the phone from tampines to clementi. lol... after all the washing, i rushed back to school for cca meeting. "jing zong zi shou"~

a yearly event in nyp for the clubs to recruit the freshman, 17/4 - 19/4.
i organised a meeting before the event, brief the people on what to do and prepare. and thanks to my pathetic phone, i had a hard time.
bring all the shit over on 17/4, and prepare the booth. the area allocated to my club is huge, really huge... a big space in the middle of the sports hall with many tables and chairs to place the boards, also a booth at the corner. many came to me, "hey max... your club has such a big space! wat lao!!" >__<
the boss gave me a call, "max, you need to have 1200 recruit." wtf... mathematically it's close to impossible, practically there won't be more than 500. there is a shortage of manpower, some back up last minute while some dying to go for lessons. however, "tian wu ju ren zi lu". next to mine, is photographic club, a girl came over to ask me stuff and borrowed some games. end up she helped me to promote mine and not hers. thanks for helping, and accompanying me for lunch. =) the next day, another helped me, big thanks to all.
end up there're only 200+ recruit, not even 300. god bless me, more pressure from the top. =(

many of you may have heard this from me before...
my parents are so loving that i feel uneasy. when they're together at home, they hug each other and some other actions. "er tong bu yi". when they drag me out with them to see them date, i feel so lonely. they'll hold each other, oh man.... and most of those who heard this from me will say that, all i need is to find a girlfriend. -__-

the tep shit is over... is a waste of time, waste of school fees and free labour for the school.
6 months of torture. -__-
but i've many friends in tep, gonna miss them all. miss those times when everyone tries to mia together, haha. yesterday was the last day of tep, played pool in the morning. then back to school for farewell. more pool after school, lol... then went cindy's home for mahjong. many funny things happened, and stayed overnight. slept in cindy's room till 4.15pm today, 13 hrs of slp. holy...
club crawl is coming up, followed by chalet with tep friends then going back to hk for a week. i'm gonna do a better job for my classical this semester!! wish me luck...

arsenal lost 2-0 to manchester utd in old trafford on sun...
before the match, i predict is to be a draw. but the recent arsenal and manu form are both excellent, so it will be hard to predict the result.
henry and ljungberg are not in the starting line. henry, the god, was left on the bench, oh man... maybe arsene wanna rest the stars for champions league?
after the match, every manu fan i know either sms or phone me about the match. the last time i feel sad for arsenal is when they lost to manu when they had their unbeaten run last season. 49 league games unbeaten is something special. "qian wu gu ren, hou wu lai ze".

my phone is dead...
few days ago, a sms woke me up. i open it, and as usual there'll be a hour glass as it loaded. the hourglass is different from normal, there was a square surround it. and as it spinned, it looked like the shape tweening of flash. lol... i off the phone and on it again. it get worse~ the top half of the screen is all white, can't see a shit. the bottom half is even more funny. the right became left and the left became right, mirror image... i off and on for a few times, it was fine again. not that fine though... the screen is abit blury, and the words' font is different as well. when i look a the photos, they looked like they've been edited with photoshop. omg...
and yesterday it got worse... the screen was eeerm.... i don't know how to explain it! i really don't know how to phrase it, see it and you'll understand that my vocab is not powerful enough to put it in words. yesterday i organised a cca meeting, it talked for 3 hours. oh man.. and my boss keep msging me and i can't see a shit. someone outside school called me about my club, and the phone created lots of problem. ahhhhhhhh~
my mum has a new phone for 2 months, but she dislikes it. my dad spent alot of $ to get this without plan and all sort of accessory, it is a motorola v3i. my mum asked if i want it after she used it for a week, but i didn't want it. she wanted to push to me and get a new one. i pity my father. end up, she spoilt somehow... i don't how, whether it was on purpose or not. lol...
i'm now using my mum's old phone, and wait till late june when the plan is up to get a new phone... lets be patient... >_<

jay chou's mtv of his song, qi li xiang (七里香）, someone edit the lyric and paste it on the video. the meaning of the lyric is very funny... i pasted the link to some friend to watch it, but most can't understand the chinese. so i decided to type them out and paste it here. charlene even wants a english translation. the lyric on the video is traditional chinese, and i edit it myself to become simplified chinese, so that you can understand and have a good laugh.

arsenal has qualified for the champions league semi final!!
drew with juventus 0-0 in 2nd league, arsenal won with a agre of 2-0. this is the 1st time arsenal get into the semi final of champions league.
they are like last season's liverpool. liverpool sold owen, since owen didn't want to extent contract, as he felt he will not get any silverware with the reds. so rather than losing him in a free transfer, liverpool sold him cheaply to real madrid. and the same season that they won the CL, poor owen... arsenal sold vieira this season, and arsenal is now in the semi final. haha... 2nd similarity is that no one expect them to make it far in the competition, yet they beat all the big teams along the way.
CL semi final: villareal vs arsenal barcelona vs ac milan (best attack vs best defence?)
 here are the heros...  Lehmann is angry over nedved's challenge, and nedved get red carded. reyes get a yellow which makes him miss the next match.

3rd april

it's the start of my 1 week block leave. sleep sleep and sleep... and get my reports done.
4th april

complete my reports, and went to school to hand them up before weiqi training. collect my $40 from weiqi association at night, the pay for the international tournament recently. 1 match $10, not too bad. the market rate for a part time job is $5 an hour, and a match lasted for 2 to 3 hours.
apple came my home at night and staying over to watch the milan vs lyon match. i place a $5 bet on lyon to win it. though the chance of milan winning the game is very high, with home advantage. but the rate for milan is not even 2.0, and lyon is 4.8... i always like to bet on under dogs, furthermore lyon played great this season. in the end, milan won 3-1 with 2 late goals. nevertheless, lyon fighted well and they've chance to win it. another match is villareal vs inter, villareal won 1-0. i doubt anyone have predicted villareal to make it to the semi-final.

had steamboat in bugis with the tcg gang... kyo ate alot, i think is double of his normal portion. omg... i was the only one cooking with the hot and spicy soup, my tongue can't taste a shit after awhile. lol... get down to the arcade, and watch the rest play game. 6 of us crowd around the "photo hunt" machine, and try to beat the 400000+ top socre. gave up after many tries.. oh man, i wonder how did that ass manage to get that top score. took the last train home...
tonight is the night.... juventus vs arsenal! i've faith that arsenal will get through this round. hope kristy and dawn cheer for arsenal, as they promised... i predict the match is a draw. another match is barcelona vs benfica, and of course most expect barca to win. i bet $5 on benfica, draw in half time and benfica wins in full time. i know the chance is slim, but i just love to bet on underdogs.
5 minutes from kick off now... and arsenal will qualify for the semi final!!

the chalet is better than the last yr's, simply because there're more people this time. this is another chance to scam school's money. school pay for this chalet, because our performance is great, winning every bloody tournament for them.
li xin organises this chalet, did better than the last. =p most were there on fri evening, and i reached at 10.30pm. -_- they accompanied me to have my dinner, then get 3 decks to play bluff. 3 decks to play bluff is fun, cover 8 fake cards and no one dare to open. lol... i suggested to have a forfeit that the last 2 who had the most cards are gonna kiss.

 wilbur put up a.... a don't know wtf stunt. lol
lixin slept on my left and clement on my right, quite squeezy, but whatever~ clement got closer and open his arm wide. at the same time, lixin turned to my side. i can't move at all with my neck at a real bad position. damn... later on, both turned away... clement grab the blanket with him, and i was freezing. end up i get to sleep for an hour in the morning.
shuyu woke me up and we sat at the stairs to watch wibur sleep. the way he sleeps is omg... swing his legs, bang his arms, talk craps and shake his head. lol...
played pool then bicycle in the noon. we tried to teach lixin to cycle, and it wasn't easy. haha... her balance kinda "not so good". later on both shuyu and lixin went home because they get sexually harassed by wilbur. wilbur suggested to play game with sex and french kiss as forfeit. he made those noise and noses on bed. slept on their bed, and shuyu get pissed. after that shuyu amd lixin had alittle dispute. oh man... they left, affected my mood too. waited for the rain to stop and started bbq, while more people start to come.
played cards and mahjong at night. then the weiqi gang was discussing weiqi in the room, -_-". before the chalet someone said that mindsports club chalet don't play chess is weird, then i said if chalet play chess is even more weird.
